Kenny Goss reveals George Michael was 'scared to death' by his ‘horrific’ stay in prison after crashing into Snappy Snaps

 George Michael’s ex-lover Kenny Goss has revealed how the singer coped with his "horrific" stay in prison.

The singer served four weeks in prison in 2010 after his Range Rover ploughed into the shop while he was driving under the influence of drugs after the Gay Pride parade.

After his release, George described his prison stay as "horrific" after he claimed he was "put in with the paedophiles and the bullies".

And Kenny, who was with the Wham! star for 13 years, has now revealed how his former partner coped with incarceration.
He told The Sun that the prison stay came as a shock to both of them.

"I remember going to court. Everybody had told us he wasn't going to jail," he said.

"And then George was taken right out of that place to jail. You don't get to say goodbye or anything in the court."
George spent three nights at Pentonville Prison before he was moved to HMP Highpoint in Suffolk.

"George didn't get any special treatment," he said.

"He had to wear a uniform of jeans and a blue and white striped shirt that was tucked in. The outfit was quite cute. If somebody had told me 20 years ago I'd be visiting my partner in jail I'd have been like, you're kidding me.

"But he coped with it well. People were good to him in there. But he said he was scared to death in Pentonville."

  George, 53, was found dead at his Oxfordshire home on Christmas Day by then lover Fadi Fawaz.

A coroner ruled he died of natural causes. The singer died suffering from conditions affecting his heart and liver.

George and Kenny are believed to have grown close again before his death. The ­singer’s 1984 No1, Careless Whisper, was last week voted the best ever record by fans.see more

He informed his 26,600 Twitter followers: “I am not facing legal action […] Please spread my words. Thank you.”

In a series of Twitter posts, Fawaz said the story was “totally not true” as he issued a denial on the social media platform.

Fawaz went on to state: “[…] Andros is not George's cousin and knows they not spoken for 20 years but still print what he says [sic].”

It is thought that Fawaz was living with Michael, who died on Christmas Day, at his multi-million pound property in London.

According to The Sun, a disagreement was brewing between Michael’s family and Fawaz, who has insisted he gave him permission to use the property.

A source told newspaper: "Most of George’s estate is passing to his sisters and his immediate family, which includes his substantial property portfolio, but at the moment Fadi is still living in the Regent's Park house."  read more......
