Tina Fey and Steve Carell aren't a couple in real life, but based on their chemistry in Date Night, they certainly could be.

The two stars share slots in NBC's Thursday prime-time lineup with The Office and 30 Rock, respectively, and until now, Carell and Fey had never performed together.

Date Night makes you wonder what took them so long.

Carell and Fey are a perfect match as Phil and Claire Foster, a middle-aged husband and wife in New Jersey who have lost the spark in their lives and their marriage because of job and parental commitments. Even the Fosters' weekly date nights have become routine, consisting of dinner at the same steakhouse, the same foods, and the same conversation, mostly poking fun at the other couples in the restaurant.

When they learn two friends are happily splitting up because they've become more roommates than lovers, the Fosters wonder if this is the mirror image of their marriage as well.
