In photos published by TMZ, The Vampire Diaries actress is seen lying in the garden of the Two Bunch Palms Resort & Spa, Palm Springs being attended to by medics.
Sources claim that the star had "downed" a brownie earlier in the day before falling ill.
The 27-year-old is said to have ran out of the resort's restaurant before being sick and passing out.
